The boat weighs 18.81 tons, measures 15.21 m long and 4.83 m wide, and has/had a blue mast.
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia: Between August and December 2004: Recorded for fraud. Llopis Miro's modus operandi always seems to be the same: he arrives on "his yacht", which may be stolen, claims to be a Spanish doctor or plastic surgeon traveling the world and taking part in yachting regattas, deceives and defrauds several people, and then vanishes. He is thought to have left for Noumea, New Caledonia, on 15 December 2004. According to unconfirmed reports, he may have committed fraud in Mexico, Panama, French Polynesia, Netherlands Antilles, Brazil, and the United States. Charges were filed against Llopis Miro in Guatemala in May 2009.
As is common with human traffickers, Llopis Miro appears to use deception to engage, deceive, exploit, transport, and eventually steal from his victims.
Montevideo, Uruguay: Llopis Miro defrauded a Uruguayan woman of EUR 2,000. Llopis Miro entered into a relationship with a woman, and offered to take her with him to Spain to work on a yacht that he owned. He then asked her for money purportedly to carry out the necessary paperwork to obtain a visa. After he received the money, Llopis Miro failed to contact the woman again and disappeared from the hotel where he was staying. The Criminal Court of First Instance (Circuit 13) in Montevideo has ordered his location and arrest in Uruguay on charges and theft by deception.
